Broken Toast

I have heard of moms thinking up with creative ideas to deal the ever changing events that happen with children. With the birth of Avner (child number 3), I have been hoping that I too would have creative bursts that could help me through my day. This morning I finally had a creative idea.

At breakfast Rachael began crying, calling for me to fix her toast because her toast had "broken". At first I tried to comfort her while explaining the you can't fix broken toast you can only eat it. The crying did not stop only increased and I didn't know what to do. Then the flash of brilliance came to me. The way to fix broken toast is to turn it into a peanut butter sandwich. Rachael promptly calmed down and accepted the fix and finished her breakfast. A disaster averted by motherly creativity. Who knows I might make a good mom after all.
